Saving
Generations
Every Day

Kol Bonaich is running its 23rd year of outstanding service to young people in UK.

We help kids in pain and teens at risk by providing free food and companionship in a warm and friendly environment on a weekly basis. Our aim is to empower the neediest and poor children and young people in a safe community space – helping them gain the confidence and self-worth needed to get back on their feet. We specifically target NEET young people who have behavioural issues and may have been kicked out of school. The centre is open seven days a week and offers much more than hot food and drinks; we provide IT and employment workshops, job guidance, work opportunities, advice on housing and benefits as well as accommodation solutions for homeless and vulnerable people. We also offer enriching activities, trips and holiday programs including one-to-one mentoring, coaching, skills training and telephone support in times of crisis. There is a perception that NEET young people are outcast and as a result are alienated from our communities. Our aim is to bridge the gap, where NEETs will become positive contributing members of society & who we can finally be proud of who they are, helping them fulfil their potential and address issues in the earliest possible stage.

At Kol Boniach we give every heartbroken soul another chance in life to succeed.
At Kol Boniach nobody is left behind

Our
Mission

Kol Bonaich is here to ensure that no lost souls need to face their troubles alone. We are there for them always, providing for them, supporting them, guiding them and most of all encouraging them on their journey while making it possible.

Kol bonaich makes their difficult past a history and paves their way for a new, positive and brighter future. So their dreams become a reality and life becomes good. So they know they have a tremendous impact and a strong power within and are ready to forge ahead despite their difficult circumstances.

Rabbi Osher Schapiro

Founder & Director

Rabbi Osher Schapiro saw the gap where a warm organisation was needed for teens at risk and, in 1999, Kol Bonaich was born and has been a haven for underpriveleged teens ever since. The proud father and grandfather of many, Rabbi Osher Schapiro considers the dear Kol Bonaich members as part of his family. Their joy is his joy, their pride is his pride and he celebrates each of their accomplishments.

Committee

The comittee at Kol Bonaich is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to the organisation and to the healing and advancement of our young adults. They are kind and caring and get their greatest sense of fulfillment when they make a difference in other people’s lives, which is what drew them to Kol Bonaich. They work together to bring out the best in each adolescent and are there for them to provide support during their difficult moments. Our comittee is ever-growing, with new members being recruited as our organisation expands.
